We were heavily involved in theater work for about seven years.
We wrote a couple of shows, performed them, and it was a good experience.

Most of that was in the mid to late '80s. It started with the Lime Kiln Theater
in Lexington, Virginia, and now we're dabbling in other areas of the world.
It's a lot of fun writing the songs, but I'll tell you, it's really hard to manage
that plus the group.

At this point the theater 's taken second place to the group. We used to take
summers off to do the theater work, but we can't really do that any more."
